Senator John Azuta-Mbata, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, urges FG to release Nnamdi Kanu for urgent medical care, calling for a swift political solution.

 


The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Azuta-Mbata, has appealed to the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to enable him access immediate medical treatment.


In a short video message released on Thursday, Azuta-Mbata warned that Kanu’s continued detention without adequate healthcare poses a serious risk to his wellbeing. He emphasized that the matter requires a swift political solution, stressing that resolving Kanu’s case could help foster peace and stability in the country.
