Peter Obi of the Labour Party has finally reacted to viral photos of him allegedly meeting with the US President Donald Trump and MC Oluomo The 2027 presidential hopeful addressed the issue in a statement on his social media on Wednesday morning, September 24, 2025 Obi's comment on the reports has started generating reactions from some of his supporters, who fingered the APC supporters in the claim. 




The Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has clarified that reports suggesting he recently met with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, are false.


Obi, a former governor of Anambra state, explained in a social media post on Wednesday morning, September 24, that the pictures and the stories that accompanied them were fabricated with the intent of misleading the public.
