Anambra First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Frances Soludo, has fired back at former Senator Uche Ekwunife, accusing her of making malicious allegations against the Soludo family.
In a strongly worded statement, Mrs. Soludo said the attacks had “gone beyond limits” and would no longer be tolerated. She described Ekwunife’s claims as baseless, stressing that her 33-year marriage to Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been built on fidelity.
“This is someone I have hosted and cooked for, together with her children. For her to fabricate such damaging stories shows a dangerousb level of desperation,” she said.
The governor’s wife demanded a public apology within 72 hours and revealed her legal team is already on standby. She further challenged Ekwunife to take an oath before the Blessed Sacrament in a Catholic cathedral and suggested DNA tests for their children in London, with Ekwunife covering the costs.
Mrs. Soludo emphasized that she has lived a private and decent life without public funds, dismissing the allegations as “childish emotional outbursts.”
