 According to Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Pro League has the potential to become one of the top five leagues globally. Since joining Al-Nassr in January, the 38-year-old Portuguese legend has significantly raised the league's profile. Having previously competed in the Premier League, LaLiga, and Serie A, Ronaldo's experience in three of Europe's top five leagues gives weight to his statement.


Ronaldo expressed his belief that the Saudi competition can reach similar levels of quality in the future. He remarked, "We have made significant progress, and the Saudi league is continuously improving. I anticipate even greater strides in the upcoming year. Step-by-step, I foresee this league emerging as one of the top five globally. However, it requires time, talented players, and the development of infrastructure."
